Principal's Address

Hard to believe this is the end of Term one. Although the beginning of the year has had its ups and downs there has been a lot of moments to celebrate. With the most recent being the drawing of the Easter raffle today. Congratulations to the winners Lui (Area ILC), Oliva-Grace (Area B) and teacher Jenni (Area C).
REMEMBER: TERM 2 2025 starts for students and staff on Monday 28 April 2025.
I wish all a happy and safe holiday and look forward to seeing you all back rested and ready for Term 2.
Joanne Gordon
Area ILC

Some of the boys from ILC have been out exploring their environment through completing nature-based scavenger hunts. Their finds have been used to create stunning art works. Well done, Bood.
Area D
This term has been full of milestones, learning moments and we are proud of the progress each student has made. It has been aspiring to see how every student has pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones. Team work and collaboration has been a cornerstone in Area D. Our heartfelt thank you to families for your ongoing support. We are excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to continue this journey with such an amazing group of students. Wishing you all a restful break and a fresh start for the new term.

Classroom Fun

Easter Hat Parade
On Wednesday 10 April, Kindy-Year 9 students joined together for our annual Easter Hat Parade. This is no standard assembly set-up, rather we have a dance floor with bunny feet, surrounded by an audience of our peers. Each class takes their turn to get up and dance around in their Easter best. But in true Burbridge style, we want each child to shine. So, students are welcome to join in at any point, Easter hats sometimes sit on our laps or become easter t-shirts or equipment, participation is in the outdoor space to reduce the noise.
Our judges found this year very challenging as there was so much love and time put into all the outfits. After much discussion our winners were Kaylarnee (Early Childhood), Riley (Primary) and Sadie (Secondary).
Thank you to everyone for helping put on a fun, inclusive experience. Sarah Sansom Area B - Teacher
